Bridgwater & District Road & Trail Runners — a run club in Bridgwater. England Athletics affiliated club. Activities: road running, track field, trail running. RunAndTalk club (mental-health friendly).
Sessions are led by England Athletics qualified Run Leaders: Monday social runs with 5km and 8km options from Chilton Trinity School; Wednesday social runs of 5–9km on road and light trail meeting at North Petherton, Puriton or The Green at Wembdon; Thursday 10km continuous run meeting at Chilton Trinity School, Bridgwater Hospital or Robert Blake School; plus occasional weekend long runs and social trail runs further afield in Somerset. Meeting locations vary each week and upcoming midweek runs, with routes, distances and meeting points, are posted on the club's public Strava club. Newcomers can try up to four club runs free before joining. Membership is £15 a year (BADRAT Club) or £38 a year (BADRAT Club+, which includes England Athletics athlete registration at £23, discounted entry to UKA/EA licensed events and eligibility for the club's London Marathon place ballot); the membership year runs 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027 and fees are not pro-rated. To join, choose a membership option on the website and complete the online membership form. Members also get partner discounts, members-only groups and club social events.
