Run club in Telford
The 100 Marathon Club is a UK and Northern Ireland membership club that promotes marathon running and recognises runners who have completed 100 or more marathons. It is a national club based on qualifying race records rather than a local club with regular group training runs. Members meet at marathons and ultras, including an annual AGM Marathon event.
There are two membership levels: Associate (50 or more qualifying marathons/ultras, including 15 UK/Ireland qualifying events and 5 road marathons overall) and Full (100 marathons, including 25 UK/Ireland qualifying events and 10 road marathons overall). Since September 2017 applicants must be an Associate Member for three months before applying for Full Membership. To join, log all marathons and ultras in the club's sample spreadsheet and send it to vetting@100marathonclub.org.uk (other formats are not accepted), then register on the membership system and pay the membership fee; you can join as a first-claim member or as second claim if you already belong to another running club. The membership year runs 1 April to 31 March, with free months for anyone joining from 1 January. Race lists should be re-vetted roughly every six months, at 75 marathons and again at 90. Full Members may wear the blue and yellow club kit, ordered from the club shop no more than 12 weeks and no less than 6 weeks before their 100th marathon. The club publishes policies and a code of conduct and signposts mental health support resources, including a Facebook group for marathon runners. The 2026 AGM Marathon is on 19 September in Newbury and includes a timed challenge, a Handicap Marathon and the AGM meeting. England Athletics affiliated club.
