Final-year student in Manchester and a keen runner. Ankit kept hitting the same problem himself - run clubs scattered across Strava, Instagram, WhatsApp and Facebook, with no single place to find them.
So he decided to build it. JOG is the result: one app, one map, one home for every run club in the UK.
For partnership, affiliate, press or general enquiries - JOG is operated by JOG Labs, United Kingdom.
hello@joglabs.co.ukEvery club on JOG is free to join, with its run days, times and exact meeting point. Browse the full directory by city - or see them all at once on the map in the app.
Tell JOG AI at the top of this page what kind of running you want and roughly where you are, and it searches over 2,000 UK run clubs to find the ones that fit. Or browse the directory by city - every club is listed with its run days, times and exact meeting point. The app shows them all on one map around you.
Yes - every run club listed on JOG is a free social running group. You turn up at the meeting point at the club's run time. Some meet at a café or pub afterwards, but running with them costs nothing.
No. Most clubs on JOG are open to all levels and plenty are social-pace 5Ks with nobody left behind. Each club page says who it's for, and JOG AI reads the club's own Instagram so it can tell you what the pace and the vibe are really like before you show up.
Arrive five minutes early, say hello to the host, and expect a short warm-up, a 5K to 10K route with groups split by pace, and usually a coffee or a pint afterwards. You don't need club kit or a membership.
Usually not - for most clubs you can simply turn up. The JOG app lets you RSVP so the host knows you're coming, and shows you who else is going.
All of them. JOG lists over 2,000 approved clubs and events across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland - from London and Manchester to Belfast, Cambridge, Stockport and Bradford - with a directory page for every city and town. Clubs across Ireland are listed too, from Dublin and Cork to Galway and Limerick.
JOG is built by one runner. Every review gets read and helps decide what gets built next.
Ankit reads every one.
