Sedgley Striders is a running club based in Sedgley, near Dudley in the West Midlands, meeting at The Three Crowns in Lanesfield, Wolverhampton. The club caters for all abilities and holds group runs on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, with routes organised by volunteer run leaders. Members take part in events from local 5k races to marathons, plus men's and women's cross country teams and local parkruns.
Group runs take place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at around 18:45 from The Three Crowns, with run leaders organising routes most weeks; one leader notes leading at 11-12 minute miles. A 10-week beginners course is run annually, with details released in November and December for a January start. Membership runs from 1 April each year and costs £40 for 2026/27, including England Athletics registration and access to the members area of the website. To join, download the adult membership form and either hand it to a committee member on a club night or email it to the club; payment by cash, cheque payable to Sedgley Striders, or bank transfer.
