The club meets several times a week: Monday circuit training, Tuesday club runs, coached sessions every Thursday, and a track away day at Ridlins Athletic Track on the last Wednesday of each month, hosted with partner club Meridian Tri Club. Members take part in inter-club competition including the RunHerts League (summer mid-week and winter Sunday cross-country), and the Arkwright Summer 5k series with clubs across Cambridgeshire and Essex. The club organises two open events: the Chas Avis Harvest quarter and half marathon cross-country trail in late September and the Buntingford 10 miler in late December. A social committee arranges events for members, families and friends through the year. The club is affiliated to the Association of Running Clubs (ARC), with one fee covering club and members; England Athletics registration is optional at ยฃ20 a year, collected by the club, and supports the club's allocation of London Marathon places (one place per 90 affiliated members). Prospective members can try one or more sessions before joining by contacting the club via the website; a separate contact is given for guardians of younger runners.
