The club covers road running, track, trail, cross country and fell running, with both social and competitive options, and members take part in club road and fell championships as well as regional relays and races. The club also organises its own events, including the Wardle Skyline Fell Race, Hades Hill Fell Race, the Rochdale Three Day Event and the Rochdale 10K, and some sessions (such as the members' 3,000m/5,000m track time trial) are members-only with a separate entry fee.
