Wednesday is the only official club night; other sessions are member-led and advertised on the club WhatsApp group, with meeting times that vary. Wednesday groups are organised by distance and by session type (tempo, threshold, progressive or easy), and interval blocks are offered as an optional extra several times a year, sometimes ending with a track session or 3k time trial. Regular groups ask that runners can cover 5k in around 36 minutes; those not yet at that level can join a waiting list for the next Couch-to-5k intake. Newcomers can run for two weeks free with no obligation, but must book in advance and are asked to arrive about 15 minutes early; visitors are welcome at sessions marked open. The annual membership fee includes England Athletics registration (affiliation number 2659143), which gives around £2 off race entries, third-party liability insurance and eligibility to compete for the club, plus a free club vest for new members and local discounts on kit, nutrition and physio. Parking at East Car Park is pay-and-display at about £1 an evening via the RingGo app, and showers are available. Contact the membership team by email with any questions before a first visit.
