North Uist Amateur Athletics Club (NUAAC) is an amateur athletics club on the Island of North Uist in the Western Isles, covering Track & Field and Cross Country for all ages and abilities. Most weekly training is aimed at school-aged athletes, but the winter Cross Country/Endurance session is open to everyone. That session is held at Liniclate Track and the surrounding machair.
Cross Country/Endurance training runs from October to March on Saturday mornings, 10:30-11:30, at Liniclate Track and Machair; these sessions are free and open to everyone. The club is run by an elected volunteer committee, with an AGM usually held in September or October, and all coaches are unpaid volunteers holding UK Athletics coaching licences and having passed background disclosure checks.
