Tuesday group runs use up to twelve ability groups, from group one (beginners, returners and those taking more than 35 minutes for 5k) to group twelve (comfortably sub-40 minutes for 10k); groups are usually capped at 20 and are split if larger. On the first Tuesday of each month, progression weeks shorten runs by about 15 minutes and run at the slower end of each pace range, followed by an optional social. Thursday sessions are intervals at Woodhouse Moor or track intervals at Beckett's Park from April to September, and track intervals or hill sessions on Kirkstall Road (meeting at Bannatyne Health Club, Cardigan Fields) from September to March. Everyone must register on the club's Spond group before running; session invites are issued on Sunday evening for the following week. Participants must be 18 or over, and under-18s, pets and prams are not permitted. High-visibility or reflective clothing is mandatory when dark (September to March). Lockers at The Edge require ยฃ1; parking at The Edge is free for two hours for members on Tuesdays and Thursdays with a code from reception.
