Run club in Sydney
Camden Athletic Club is a family-focused athletics club based at the Narellan Sports Hub Athletics Track in Narellan, New South Wales, formed in 1931 and re-established in 1975. It is mainly a Little Athletics centre for children, but it also provides athletic competition for senior athletes aged 18 and above, run alongside the Little Athletics program on Friday nights. Activity is track and field based, covering track events, jumps and throws, with coached squad sessions during the week and competition nights in season.
The club runs track and field competition at the Narellan Sports Hub on Friday nights from September through to April (the track is booked for competition from 15:00 to 23:00), with senior competition run alongside the Little Athletics program of events. Coached squad training in track, jumps and throws is scheduled on booked weekday evenings, with the winter booking running Monday to Thursday 16:00-20:00 and most squads finishing by about 19:15; during booked times the facility is restricted to registered members for safety and insurance reasons. All returning and new members must register online through revolutioniseSPORT, and new registrations require a birth certificate or passport to be supplied; members are asked to read the terms and conditions, refund policy and code of conduct. Registration windows open in August ahead of each season, and places in the younger age groups are capped. The club relies on volunteers and further contact details are on the club website. NSW Athletics affiliated club.
