Run club in Cambridge
Cambridge Triathlon Club is a triathlon club founded in 1990 with around 315 members, based at Impington Village College near Cambridge. Alongside swimming and cycling it runs regular adult running sessions, with a coached run in the week and a steady group run at the weekend. Members range from novices to national-level age-group and elite athletes, and some join for fitness and coaching rather than racing.
The club holds around 10 training sessions a week across the three triathlon disciplines; the running elements are a coached Thursday evening session and an unofficial Sunday steady run of 60-90 minutes, where location, distance and pace are announced each week. Session times and locations change through the year with the season and daylight, so the booking system should be checked for current details. All senior sessions are open to non-members, though there may be a cost, and in most cases there is no minimum requirement. Under 16s may only attend adult sessions by arrangement. Membership's only stated obligation is helping with the club's events. Joining details and contact information are on the club website. England Athletics affiliated club.
