Run club in Bracknell
Bracknell AC is a volunteer-run athletics club based at the John Nike Athletics Stadium next to Bracknell Sports and Leisure Centre. It describes itself as family orientated and caters for a range of age groups, competing in outdoor track and field, cross-country and indoor leagues. Training takes place at the track on set club nights and Saturday mornings.
Club training sessions run Tuesday and Thursday 17:00-20:00 and Saturday 09:00-11:00, unless competitions are scheduled; additional track access can be booked separately through the sports centre (Everyone Active). Training sessions are booked via the club's online events calendar. The club operates a waiting list for all age groups, and there is a link on the site to join the waiting list. It is entirely volunteer based and looks for helpers, officials and coaches; volunteering enquiries go to volunteer@bracknellac.com. Club kit and hoodies are ordered through a separate online store. No membership fees are stated on the page. England Athletics affiliated club.
