Bolton Triathlon Club — a run club in Bury. England Athletics affiliated club. Activities: cross country, hill fell, road running, track field, trail running. RunAndTalk club (mental-health friendly).
Adult (seniors/14+) running takes place on Monday evenings at Leverhulme Park Community Leisure Centre in two groups, Mark's Tortoises and the Allcomers Run Group, both 19:00–20:10, led by qualified coaches. Aside from being able to swim 100m and ride a bike there is no qualifying standard, and the club states it welcomes all abilities and all sections of the community. Sessions must be booked and paid for through ClubSpark (https://clubspark.net/BoltonTri/Coaching), opening seven days in advance; cash is not accepted. Membership is required to book: Senior £35, Student £15, Junior £15, Family £55 per year (1 February to 31 January, reduced pro-rata). Leverhulme Park sessions cost £3.50 each, with monthly direct debit or annual payment options (for example single adult £28 per month). Prospective members may try one introductory session first by contacting chairman@boltontri.com or a committee member; payment queries go to treasurer@boltontri.com. Members also take part in a club Grand Prix, a parkrun league and Ironman UK training, and regular racers are encouraged to join Triathlon England. England Athletics affiliated club.
